You can find several varieties of a budgeting worksheet online that you can print or use as a template in one of your existing programs. Even if you just use it to get ideas, it can be a big help when you sit down to create a money management plan. While not everyone has the same income and expense circumstances, this type of worksheet is a great place to start. If you do find a budgeting worksheet that you like, you can simply add categories to it or replace the ones you will not use with your own items. For example, many of these worksheets that you will find online have a place for investment income but if you do not have any investments to track either ignore that category or replace it with one of your own.
There are other sources for worksheets also. You can find many public schools and private schools which will provide free worksheets for you if you buy textbooks from the school. Or you can usually find textbooks and workbooks at the public library, where you can also copy any worksheets that you want to use. So what kinds of worksheets should you get? Anything where you feel that your child needs further drill. We often have this notion that worksheets are just for math. This, of course, is not true. While they are excellent tools for reviewing math facts such as the multiplication tables and division facts, they are just as useful for reviewing parts of speech or the states in the union.
Repayment of Debt Worksheet - You will need one of these worksheets for each creditor you have. Each month when you make a payment, you will record it on this worksheet and bring down the balance after each payment has been made. Monthly Financial Report - On your monthly financial report is where you will enter your income and all your expenses for the month. By filling out this worksheet correctly you will find out if you are operating your household budget in the black or the red.
ALEKS, my personal favorite, uses artificial intelligence software to routinely assess what a student actually knows, reinforce the areas that they need extra help in, and moves them through a pie chart of skills with interactive lessons and explanations that students view along the way. Periodically, new assessments are given and the software individually redesigns the material that your student needs to learn to tailor a math course that is unique to each student. Rather than having chapter tests, students work to complete the entire pie chart. The course is complete when the student has 100% mastery, so the foundation of skills is very strong when a student completes the course. In any math program, students should also practice self-checking and use a Critique System for evaluating their personal problem areas, but with regular evaluations such as these and solid online math programs, students can significantly change the way they feel about math, as well as their skill in math. Online math is an excellent option worth considering, certainly for home-schoolers, but also for any students who want to brush up on skills over the summer.
You can find worksheets for a wide range of courses--almost any course you want to teach your children. These include spelling, writing, English, history, math, music, geography, and others. They are also available for nearly all grade levels. There are printable middle school, high school, elementary school, and even pre-school worksheets. There are other sources for worksheets also. Sometimes children are given maths worksheets where they have to calculate the cost of things or work out how much change should be given on items that cost $3.60 when someone hands over a five dollar bill. You could do the following: Get them to color in and name the three items, If there are no pictures on the worksheet then give them a sheet of paper to draw and color the items and then cut them out and paste them onto the worksheet, Once they have done this try to find five dollars in change and help them count out the money and calculate what is left.
What you can do to make working on printable worksheets more enjoyable for your child may often depend on the age and interests of the child. For example, older children may have to read a poem which is on the sheet and then write their own poem in the same sort of style. If they have been used to playing word games while growing up this should not be a problem, you just have to find a way of making the doing of it attractive. One thing that they might enjoy is if you put on a favourite cd and get them to see if they can use some of the main phrases from that in a different way, i.e. in the style of the poem. Depending on your child has age and concentration span there are plenty of fun ways to get them working on printable worksheets.
