Regular attendance classes at school are a must for students. In this way, students can be familiar with mathematical problems. Additionally, the habit of solving math problems on a regular basis can be inculcated in students. Students can understand their own weak areas, as well. Re-practice of class work at home is also required. Class timings at school are limited so both students and tutors do not put in enough time on each topic. Therefore, students should practice the class work again at home and solve their problems. They can work on different examples and later, discuss these with their tutors.
There are many opportunities to teach your child how to count. You probably already have books with numbers and pictures, and you can count things with your child all the time. There are counting games and blocks with numbers on them, wall charts and a wide variety of tools to help you teach your child the basic principles of math. Mathematics worksheets can help you take that initial learning further to introduce the basic principles of math to your child, at a stage in their lives where they are eager to learn and able to absorb new information quickly and easily. By the age of three, your child is ready to move onto mathematics worksheets. This does not mean that you should stop playing counting and number games with your child; it just adds another tool to your toolbox. Worksheets help to bring some structure into a child has education using a systematic teaching method, particularly important with math, which follows a natural progression.
What you can do to make working on printable worksheets more enjoyable for your child may often depend on the age and interests of the child. For example, older children may have to read a poem which is on the sheet and then write their own poem in the same sort of style. If they have been used to playing word games while growing up this should not be a problem, you just have to find a way of making the doing of it attractive. One thing that they might enjoy is if you put on a favourite cd and get them to see if they can use some of the main phrases from that in a different way, i.e. in the style of the poem. Depending on your child has age and concentration span there are plenty of fun ways to get them working on printable worksheets.
